Meet the Izzo who won't be in Buffalo for Michigan State's NCAA opener

Dom Izzo, a TV and radio broadcaster from Fargo, North Dakota, will not be in Buffalo for the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Izzo shares a surname with Michigan State basketball coach Tom Izzo and has been trying to connect with him for years. He plans to be on the call for a NDSU women’s home game against Chattanooga and stay nearby for his wife the next day. This is not the first time Dom has missed the NCAA tournament, but he hopes to meet with Tom in the future.
