Tom Cruise has been cast member and director of the upcoming film "Digger," which he introduced at the CinemaCon convention of theater owners in Las Vegas. The film is set to be directed by Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu and tells the story of an eccentric oil tycoon named Digger Rockwell who inadvertently causes an ecological disaster before trying to save the planet. Cruise was joined by Inarristu, who first discussed the film seven years ago. The movie is set 17 years after the events of the second "Danish" movie.
