Published on April 10, 2026.
Turkish Airlines has replaced its CEO and chairman, replacing them with Ahmet Olmustur and replacing long-time CEO Bilal Eksi. The airline also appointed Metin Gulsen, formerly senior vice president of accounting and financial control, as chief financial officer and Harun Basturk, as its chief commercial officer. The company has decided not to distribute any dividend from its 2025 net profit of 118.2 billion lira ($2.65 billion), opting instead to retain earnings to preserve cash. This decision reflects the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and its uncertainty.
