Nikola Jokic had a statistically worst shooting night of his playoff career, missing 19 of his 26 shots in a Game 3 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Nuggets failed to reach 100 points for the first time since January, leading to a 113-96 loss. This loss puts the team at a 2-1 series deficit and puts pressure on JOKic to perform well against Rudy Gobert and the Minnesota defense. The team's poor defensive performance was blamed for the loss. Despite an impressive season, the Nuggets had control of this series through five quarters and led with a 121.2 offensive rating, the second-highest in NBA history. Coach David Adelman and Jamal Murray attributed their poor performance to poor screen-setting.
