Local WNBA agent weighs in on new Collective Bargaining Agreement

The WNBA and its players have reached a new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) ahead of this season. Local WNBA agent, Chauntiel Smith-Jones, has been a sports agent since 2015 and started her own agency, Capture Sports Agency. The new deal includes expansion over time, a new revenue-sharing model, a higher salary cap, changes to rosters, new rules on air travel, and much more. Smith-J. She believes this will bring the WNBA closer to a more professional level and keep players in the U.S. as they can make 300 to 600k while they're here in the States.
