Michel Rourke has been officially evicted from his Los Angeles home by default, after a court order was filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court by default. The actor's former residence, Drexel Ave. is now under the control of landlord Eric T. Goldie. The judgement was filed after Rourke failed to appear in defense of himself or respond to the complaint before a court deadline. In December, a court filing had demanded Rourke vacate the home in three days or pay $59,100 in back rent. A GoFundMe campaign was launched by Liya-Joelle Jones to raise $100,000 to prevent the eviction, but Rourke denied involvement in the fundraiser. His manager, Kimberly Hines, stated that despite an influx of job opportunities, Rourke is holding out for A-list paychecks and won't work for less than $200,000 per day.
