A hit-and-run on the Southwest side of San Antonio left a young tow-truck driver, Julian Salinas, in critical condition after he was hit by a car in the middle of the night. Two witnesses, who wished to remain anonymous, recalled the incident and described how Salinas' son was coming to remove their car from the side of the road when the car came racing down the freeway. The 24-year-old was left with a severe brain injury, broken bones, and a full leg amputation. No one has been identified as the suspect. Police are currently searching for a silver sedan believed to be a Chrysler.
