Tacifica's Jhonny Pereda secured a 6-5 victory over the El Paso Chihuahuas, marking the team's first six-game series victory. The Chihuahaas won four of the six games in the series and five of the nine games on their season-opening road trip. El Paso first baseman Marcos Castañon was the first player this season to homer in consecutive games, and center fielder Jase Bowen had multiple hits in three of the five games played. The next game will be played by the San Diego Padres.
