Israeli Jacobowitz, 31, was arrested in connection to a burglary at the condemned Rialto Apartments in Orlando, where it is illegal for anyone to occupy or reside in the building. A search of Jacobowitz was conducted, which found four bank cards belonging to residents of the apartment complex, a broken door, and stolen tools. The building manager informed deputies that Jacobowitz had been told by the Rabi next door that the building was abandoned and therefore he had the right to be inside. Jacobowitz is charged with various charges including burglary, attempted burglary, possession of burglary tools, and grand theft in the third degree. He is held on an $8,250 bond.
