Diamondbacks pitcher Brandon Pfaadt was seen wearing pink shoelaces during a game against the Phillies, which he helped deliver a gender reveal for his brother's unborn child back in Kentucky. The laces were found during the Diamondbacks' series against the Mets and were later discovered by Pfaaddt's wife. Following the game, Pfeadt said he was happy to help with the reveal and felt it was "special" to be included. However, the shoelacing did not help with Pfeidt's performance on the mound, leading to a loss of three earned runs through six innings.
