The Bannock County Fair and Rodeo is returning to Downey, Idaho, with activities for families, cowboys, and little ones throughout the week. Local volunteers, Brittanie Goodwin, many of whom work to make the fair happen every year, are Downey local volunteers. The fair includes a kids' day in the park with a dunk tank and water toys, plus a hypnotist performance in the evening. An inflatable park is open with bouncy houses, bumper boats, and inflatable toys for kids from noon to 8 p.m. There are also raffles for prizes and boothes for face painting. The rodeo draws the most people to Downe, featuring events like bronc and bull riding, steer wrestling, barrel racing and more fan favorites.
