US to release oil from strategic reserve, Trump says

President Donald Trump has announced plans to release oil from the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve, amid high oil prices driven by the Iran war. The International Energy Agency (IEA), a member of the United States, announced that its members would release 400 million barrels of oil in an effort to reduce prices. However, additional details on the release were not immediately disclosed.
