Lehi High School girls soccer team defeated Bountiful 5-1 in the season opener, scoring three goals in the first half. The team had five different goal scorers, including Presley Shippen, Tessa Richards, Kajsa Sherman, Lillie Watson and Chloe Fritch. Coach Jonas Hartmann praised the team's performance, stating that Bountifully initially put a lot of pressure on them early but once they found their composure, the game was flowing well. The victory is a good start to the season for Lehi as it seeks to improve upon last year's performance.
