There is a potential for severe storms in Oklahoma on Monday afternoon and evening, with the potential for hail and strong winds expected to fall after the 4:00 HOUR TO THE LATE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. The storms could produce quarter-sized sized hail and could also produce strong winds. However, they are expected to produce hail and 50-60 mph wind gusts, but expect very isolated storm reports. A level 1 marginal risk has been issued for west-central, central, east-central and northeastern Oklahoma, including the OKC metro. The potential for rain and storms is currently sitting at 20%, but this is considered a low level 1 in the marginal risk zone. KOCO 5's Meteorologist, Joseph Neubauer, has been certified as the Most Accurate Forecast in Oklahoma City for 14 consecutive years.
