Sam Champion, a 64-year-old weatherman, has returned to Good Morning America after a life-saving heart procedure. The procedure was performed at the Mount Sinai Fuster Heart Hospital in New York City. Champion shared that one of his symptoms, shortness of breath, led to a nuclear stress test. The Mayo Clinic defines this as a test or treatment for certain heart or blood vessel conditions, such as clogged arteries or irregular heartbeats. Dr. Tara Narula explained that the procedure is not invasive and does not necessarily require a break.
