Valley natives work on NASA’s Artemis II moon mission

Two of the astronauts on the Artemis II space mission, Marie Henderson and Trevor Graff, grew up in the Valley and are now working for NASA. They were part of the science team on the mission, which includes four astronauts and two women. Graff credits his time at Youngstown State University for his start with NASA. Both Henderson and Graff were most interested in the flyby of the moon and the pictures sent back to Earth. They also highlighted the welcoming nature of the community and the integration of science and operations.
