Meet the Journal's All-Metro Boys Basketball Team

The Journal has named its All-Metro Boys Basketball Team for the 2025-26 season. David Lunn of Volcano Vista, a 6-foot-4 junior guard who led the Hawks to their fifth consecutive Class 5A state championship, tops the first team. Other notable players on the first-team include Remy Albrecht from Cleveland, who averaged 22.8 ppg for the Storm. The second team includes La Cueva senior Hunter Butler, Nico Sanchez from Highland, and Sophomore guard Isaiah Brown from Sandia.
