Smith, who had been a healthy scratch for the previous five games, scored the game-winner with a rebound from a Mitch Marner shot. Brayden McNabb and Ivan Barbashev also scored goals for Vegas, while goalkeeper Adin Hill made 13 saves. Wyatt Johnston set a franchise single-season record with his 23rd power-play goal and Justin Hryckowian also scored for Dallas, which had a four-game win streak against the Golden Knights snapped. The win moves Vegas into second place in the Pacific Division.
