Carla M. Cook Enters Race For Westborough's Lone Contested Seat On Housing Authority

Carla M. Cook is running for a first term with the Westborough Housing Authority, which develops, manages and operates over 100 affordable units for low- and moderate-income residents. She has been living in Westborough for six years and is currently serving on the 250th American Revolution Committee. Cook chose to run after seeing the condition of some affordable housing units and hearing from residents who questioned why more housing is being built in the town. She hopes to bridge the gap between residents' voices and those of the Housing Authority to address issues such as the impact of housing on schools and the issue of tax pay.
