Patrick Agyemang took unique path from Division III to legit shot to make USMNT

Patrick Agyemang, a striker for the USMNT, has taken a unique path to make the team, taking up toiling in NCAA Division III and being molded in the English Championship. The 25-year-old is currently competing in a training camp with Team USA, where he has five goals in 12 caps for the U.S. in 2025. He is competing against other top players in a bid to earn his place on the World Cup roster. Folarin Balogun, Ricardo Pepi, and Haji Wright are all double-digit scorers in Europe. Despite being drafted by Charlotte and moving to England in 2023, Agymang has hit the ground running with 10 goals in the Championship and is confident in his performance.
