The alternate timeline series For All Mankind, currently playing in an alternate 2012, has been linked to the concept of a Mars base and humanity reaching further into the solar system. The episode titled “The Hard Six” has been referred to as an episode where Ed Baldwin (Joel Kinnaman) tells Kelly and Alex Baldwin (Sean Kauffman) that “sometimes you’ve got to roll the hard six” is a phrase that has been used in the show before. This phrase originates in the rebooted version of Battlestar Galactica, co-creator Ronald D. Moore, who is also the co-creator of For All Mephenia. The show has not yet touched on the idea of artificial, synthetic human life like the Cylons, but since Season 1, we do know that it takes place in a different timeline.
