Man accused of shooting East High student near library due in court Wednesday

A 19-year-old man is scheduled to appear in court in connection with the shooting of an East High School student on Feb. 26. The shooting occurred in the parking lot of the MLK Branch Library, just steps away from the school. The student is recovering and is being praised for his actions by East High High School football coach Mike Bell. The incident is not clear what sparked the shooting.
