Nebraska secretary of state on how new executive order could impact elections

President Donald Trump has signed his second executive order on election integrity, which will not impact the May 12 primary primary. Nebraska Secretary of State Bob Evnen stated that the executive order expands on the SAVE program, the federal citizenship database, and the Department of Homeland Security to prepare databases that they will send to states instead of requesting the data. The order also encourages states to send a list of residents who are 18 or older and who are U.S. citizens. Evnen also suggested that states would add barodes to their ballots before they counted. However, he rejected reinstating NEBRASKA's current voting system.
