Far-right pundit and content creator Nick Fuentes has been criticized by his own fans for his vapidness and lack of respect for his core supporters after two of his followers taped a CNN segment discussing their online political movement. The incident occurred when John Lawrence, a member of Fuente's "groyper" group, was interviewed with CNN's Donie O'Sullivan to discuss their movement. Lawrence, who is reportedly devoted to groyper content and has over 40,000 followers, posted stills to his Instagram account, where he claimed that he and his companion were "mogging" the young host, making them appear better, hotter, more handsome and more masculine than the reporter. As the segment aired, Fuente criticized the young men for being too pudgy, nerdy, and lame to be the self-appointed avatars for the movement. His supporters called for him to be doxxed and have his life ruined.
