Chicago's West Loop cocktail bar, Kumiko, has been awarded the Michter's Art of Hospitality Award, part of the North America’s 50 Best Bars program. The award was determined by over 300 members of the N. America's 50 Best Bar Academy, a voting body made up of bartenders, bar owners, drinks writers, and cocktail experts from across the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. This is not the first time Kumiko has won the award, but it is a testament to its dedication to connecting with guests and exceeding expectations. The bar, which was born in Japan to an American mother and Japanese father, has become one of the Midwest's most internationally celebrated cocktail destinations since opening in 2018.
