It’s finally payday for former Boston Sports Club members

The Massachusetts Attorney General's Office is returning nearly $4 million to former Boston Sports Clubs customers who were wrongly charged during its pandemic shutdown. The court ruled that former CEO, Patrick Walsh, unlawfully billed members for April 2020, despite all locations being closed during the crisis. The affected consumers will receive an email with instructions for claiming their refund. After Boston Sports Club filed for bankruptcy in September 2020, the company closed at least a half-dozen gyms.
