The City of New York has decided not to close the Community Action School, which was previously scheduled to close next fall. This decision comes after a parent made racist statements during a virtual Community Education Council meeting. The professor, Allyson Friedman, was overheard saying, "They're too dumb to know they're in a bad school" and "If you train a Black person well enough, they'll know to use the back.
