College basketball's annual postseason is set to begin with the reveal of the 2026 NCAA Tournament's 68-team bracket. The decision will be made by the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Committee, which will air live on CBS. While 31 teams automatically qualify for the field based on their respective conference tournaments, more than half the field is hand-selected by the committee. The selection committee will determine the eight First Four participants and the other 60 teams immediately placed in the main bracket. There are also several bubble teams waiting to see if their resumes are strong enough to warrant inclusion.
