Giants season ticket holder Joe Becker and his wife drove from Endicott, N.Y., to attend the first open practice of training camp in West Virginia. About 1,000 fans filled half of the stands surrounding the team’s two grass fields, a significant turnout considering the remote location. The team's owner, John Mara, watched the entire practice from a golf cart with some of his grandchildren. Despite the quiet attendance, rookie guard Sisi Mauigoa and players including safety Jevon Holland signed autographs to thank fans for their support.
