‘No Kings’ protests held across West Michigan, nationwide

The "No Kings" protests were held across West Michigan, with over a thousand people gathering in Grand Rapids and across the country. The protests, which included speeches on stage and participants dressed in costumes, were part of a trend inspired by rallies in other cities. Since President Donald Trump's second term, there have been multiple rallies against the administration, with 54% of people surveyed not approving of him. The demonstrations also benefited local non-profits, including SECOM Resource Center, a group that serves immigrants who have collected thousands of pounds of food. Michigan Republicans responded to the rallies, stating that the protesters won't govern the state but the people they choose will restore election integrity to the state.
