After investigating the order, Taschk found the shipping address and discovered it had been delivered to the customer's workplace. She warned the scammer if she didn't resolve the issue, and the customer promptly paid the $315 order plus the $17.50 penalty fee. The incident has been widely reported, raising concerns about the rise in fraud among banks and businesses.
