Sloanian cyclist, Tadej Pogacar, won the Milan-San Remo race for the first time after recovering from a crash that left him with minor injuries. The race, known as La Classicissima, was marked by a significant crash on the descent of the Cipressa. Pogacacar managed to beat Tom Pidcock on the line to win the race, beating him by half a wheel. The women's race was won by Charlotte Kopecky in a sprint of five.
