Denver announced as finalist to host Democratic National Convention

The Democratic National Committee has named Denver as a finalist for the 2028 Democratic National Convention. The city is one of five cities being considered for the event, along with Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, and Philadelphia. The last time the city hosted the convention was in 2008, resulting in an estimated $154 million in economic impact in Denver and a $266 million in Metro Denver.
