The availability of higher-end models of Mac Studio and Mac mini is decreasing due to worsening supply constraints and the possibility of a M5 refresh. Several models are now completely unavailable at the Apple Store, including the M4 Mac mini with 32 GB RAM, and at least two configurations of Mac Studios. This comes after the M3 Ultra Mac Studio with 256 GB RAM was backordered to August or September, and the Apple Online Store reported 4-5 month shipping delays. While other models can still be purchased, delivery estimates are bleak. The current situation indicates that an M5 update for Mac mini and Mac Studio is imminent.
