Baby Returns Home After Making History as the Youngest Surviving Infant in Hospital's History

A baby girl named Talia, born at just 22 weeks old, has returned home after spending over 100 days in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at the King's College Hospital in Dubai, UAE. Despite weighing only 400 grams and spending 129 days, Talia was released from the NICU after nearly five months of intensive care. She was born during a complicated delivery and required high infection markers and high skin infections. Dr. Maria Theresa Reyes, a Consultant Neonatologist who cared for Talia described her as "the smallest 22‑weeker ever reported in the UAE".
