The most common form of cancer, colorectal cancer, is caused by Lynch syndrome, which does not have any outward-facing symptoms. It is more common than other hereditary cancer syndromes like the BRCA mutation. If you have a personal or family history of colon cancer, it is recommended for genetic testing.
