Budget airlines in Asia are facing increasing costs due to rising fuel prices and Middle East tensions, forcing them to raise fares and reduce expenses. Low-cost carriers rely on high passenger volumes and low fares, leaving them less able to absorb fuel price swings and route disruptions. The Investment Information and Credit Rating Agency of India has changed its outlook on India's aviation sector to negative from stable.
