Kristen Stewart Boards ‘Barbara Forever’ as Executive Producer as Strand Acquires North American Rights

Kristen Stewart has joined Brydie O'Connor's documentary "Barbara Forever" as an executive producer as Strand Releasing acquires all North American rights. The film, which chronicles the life and career of filmmaker Barbara Hammer, had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and its international debut at the Berlin Film Festival. Stewart joins Dylan Meyer and Maggie McLean with their company Nevermind Pictures. The distribution deal was done between Jon Gerrans of Strand releasing and Isadora Johnson of Cinetic. Strand plans for a national fall release with a theatrical run at Film Forum in New York on Sept. 4 before going wide.
