Enterprise collaboration software company, Atlassian, is laying off 63 workers in Washington state, affecting about 10% of its 1,600 employees. The layoffs are part of the company's transition to an "AI-first company" as it shifts towards the future. The company's CTO, Rajeev Rajan, will step down after nearly four years with the company. The employees affected are mostly remote workers and about half of the affected workers are in engineering or data science roles. The rise of AI tools has caused some investors to worry about their impact on some software companies' shares.
