Tiger Woods, who hasn't played professional golf since July 2024, celebrated a victory in the indoor simulation golf league he co-founded with Rory McIlroy in 2022 with teammate Tom Kim. Kim's hole-in-one came on the penultimate hole of a win-and-in match against the Bay Golf Club at the Sofi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Woods celebrated with his teammates, who did not play any of Jupiter's five matches this season due to his recovery from a ruptured Achilles and lumbar disc replacement surgery. The TGL, Woods' co-founder, aims to appeal to a younger, more restless generation of golf fans and is set to play in the semi-finals of the league.
