Texan All-Pro defensive end Will Anderson Jr. has agreed to a three-year, $134 million deal with the Texans, making him the highest paid non-quarterback and defensive player in NFL history. The deal includes $100 million fully guaranteed and a no-trade clause. Texans coach DeMeco Ryans praised Anderson as a leader and a leader who does everything he has asked of him. The McNair family also expressed their high value of both Anderson and quarterback C.J. Stroud, who has a fifth-year club option through 2027 and isn't expected to receive an extension this year.
