Cunningham was a key player for the team last season, averaging 8.6 points and 3.5 rebounds per game and shooting 43.2 percent from the field. She also stood behind Caitlin Clark during a dispute during a game against the Connecticut Sun. The team has been busy adding firepower to the team this summer, with additions to guards Kelsey Mitchell and Lexie Hull.
