Ash Uss, a social worker and DJ known as Trip Hazard and Stinkweeds, has been leading the inaugural Resonance Festival in 2025 in Phoenix, aiming to create a festival that offers deep connection through music. She shared detailed breakdowns of where each dollar from each ticket purchased goes, including where each ticket is used to pay the artists. Every band on the bill has been guaranteed $500, $150 more than last year’s festival. The festival will also feature 19 live performances, 11 DJ sets, an art market, an expanded experimental music showcase and a live hip-hop cypher led by Phoenix Psypher. The event will be held at the historic Icehouse in downtown Phoenix on April 24.
