France’s Safran confirms outlook after stronger than expected Q1 jet engine revenue

French jet engine manufacturer Safran (SAF.PA) has reported a stronger than expected rise in Q1 revenue, reaching the high end of its full-year forecast of 8.62 billion euros ($10.08 billion). The company also makes landing gear, brakes, and cabin interiors. Safran's adjusted revenue was 18.8% and was largely driven by strong LEAP engine deliveries and sales of spare parts and services. For the future, Safran plans to see revenue rise by a low- to mid-teens percentage.
