A 17-year-old boy was killed in a multi-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck in Adelanto, California, on March 20. The boy, identified as Michael Zavala, was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center where he died the following day. The driver of the semi was also injured, but the third vehicle was uninjured. The incident occurred just before 11 p.m. on Highway 395.
