Police were called to the 2400 block of Laurelhurst Rd. on March 1, following a report of suspicious activity. Two girls were walking home when a white male driving an older model, gold-colored Toyota sedan approached them and offered them a ride. The girls declined the offer and reported it to a parent, who contacted police. The vehicle was impounded and the suspect, a South Euclid man, was charged with the theft of $104.79 worth of merchandise. Other incidents included a welfare check on two males asleep in a van in a business's lot in the 14400 block of Cedar Road.
