Korean Webtoons Come To Film & TV: Studio N On ‘Bloodhounds 2′, ‘The Legend of Kitchen Soldier’ & ‘The Remarried Empress’

Studio N, the producer of Korean webtoons, is expanding into film and TV production with a new season of the Netflix drama Bloodhounds and a screening of The Legend of Kitchen Soldier at Series Mania. The company's CEO, Mikikyung (Michelle) Kwon, revealed that their primary goal is to bring Korean-language fare to the international market. The Remarried Empress, Studio N’s biggest ever show, will launch later this year on Disney+. The company is also working on an adaptation of Korean animated shows Gosu with Toei, and is in the process of finding a platform for this project.
