Alex Jones, a features writer with five years of experience covering tech companies, may soon lose Infowars to The Onion, the satirical newspaper. Jones has revealed that comedian Tim Heidecker, who is set to become The Onion's new creative director, produced pro pedo/child kidnapping, torture and murder programs for Adult Swim. Jones posted a fake mugshot of the comedian from a 2017 Adult Swim courtroom series, which he claimed was a case of 2nd degree murder. The Onion still needs to approve a new licensing deal in which they will pay to use Infowar IP. For years, Jones has used his online platform to sell merch, diet supplements, and sketchy health products while spreading lies and conspiracy theories.
