A Washington state couple are facing second-degree murder charges for their 7-week-old son's death from injuries consistent with shaking and abusive head trauma. Prosecutors allege that 19-year-old Alyssa Jade Vanderbeck and her husband, Mark Anthony Labaco Clamor, shook their infant son before he died March 4. The baby was rushed to a Tacoma hospital with severe injuries, including oxygen deprivation to the brain and brain bleeds, and remained hospitalized in critical condition. The couple allegedly took videos of their son struggling to breathe and showed signs of serious distress, but waited an hour before calling 911.
