Darwin Martinez, a 20-year-old Bronx suspect, has been arrested for the shooting deaths of Adam Waldropt and Gabriel Alvarez on July 28 outside Ferry Point Park in Throggs Neck. The victims were shot in the stomach and buttocks, while Alvarez was hit in the armpit and shoulder. During a seven-month investigation, cops identified Martinez as a possible suspect in the killing. He was also arrested for robbing an ex-girlfriend in front of her child. It is unclear if more arrests are expected.
